How cute are these little guys?? My first set of identical twins – and boy was it hard for me to tell them apart during their session. Once I started editing these shots, I was able to distinguish the (very) subtle difference between the two boys – I was pretty proud of myself for that!These guys were super smiley, and loved being cuddled up next to each other. I love, love, LOVE working with newborn twins, and these guys were no exception!!! Thanks Natasha for bringing your amazing little guys in to see me!

There are times in this journey through photography that I really feel blessed to do what I do. I get to meet the most incredible people and be with them during some of the most joyous times in thier lives! This session was certainly no exception! I’ve worked with this family for going on 3 years, and I’ve captured them going from a family of 2 to 3, and then 3 to 4. Absolutley adore this family – and even more so now that Julia has joined! K – hangin’ with you is just like hangin’ with some of my oldest friends! I {heart} you!!!

Take a look at this wonderfully perfect piece of cuteness at 10 days old. Love her!

Happy 2010! My first session of the year – and boy, was it FUN! Not only did I get my hands on some newborn twins…they were both girls! I swear, I’ve been on a newborn boy streak…well, pretty much since I opened for business. Needless to say, I was just a little bit excited to work with these two!

Meet Ashlynne and Emmie, 5 weeks old here. I usually prefer to do newborn sessions much earlier than 5 weeks, but the girls were born a bit early and Emmie had to spend some time in the hospital before she could make the trip up here from Portland to be a supermodel for the day. Thanks K & J for making the trip up – it was wonderful to finally meet you guys!

I got so lucky on Saturday to get my hands on this little guy – he was only 3 days old! And I’ll tell you what – he really didn’t want to sleep for me all that much, but in the end I think I finally wore him out. He was perfectly content to be bright eyed, checking this this whole new world. He was a really mellow little fellow….just wasn’t super sleepy for meThis first picture really shows how he was for us for a good portion of the session. He was making direct eye contact left and right – which I don’t see very often it little one’s his age. I think I finally tired him out and was able to get a couple of good sleep stretches out of him – and it was well worth the wait. Isn’t he adorable? I love his cheeks! Congrats Mama and Daddy – you guys make CUTE babies!

Little Miss Avery made her debut into the world – and into Washington state all within the same few weeks! Her family just moved her from Texas! She was just a little over 3 weeks old, which is a bit older than I usually like to see, but her mama assured me she was a good little sleeper – and she was right! Avery did beyond wonderful – slept like a 6 day old! And look at all her gorgeous hair….isn’t she a pretty little thing???

Big sister Kinsey made a brief stop in the studio – and boy was she a firecracker! She was not very interested in having a family picture taken, but she had all of us cracking up with spunky personality! I can’t wait until next time when I get to chase her around outside – we’re gonna have some fun, huh Miss Kinsey?
