November Mentoring Session – Seattle Newborn Photographer

What an amazing day! I hosted a mentoring session back in November (as you can see I’m way behind getting to this blog post!) and it was so much fun! I worked with a group of very fun photographers, and had 3 beautiful babies who were all super cooperative! Doesn’t get any better than that! Here are a bunch of the images from that amazing day.

I will be hosting newborn mentoring sessions in 2012, if you are interested in participating, please email me at info@theportraitplaceweb.com.:)

Alecia!
From day 1 i came to know about you (thru ur photos), am madly in awe of your skills. You are absolutely fantastic. I am so bewildered and amazed about how you get such crazy (almost impossible) expressions from your little models :) And i also always wonder how their parents allow you to make them sit/lie in such quirky poses. How do you convince them Alecia?! Please guide me with anything that you can. I am willing to learn everything possible from you and be a well trained baby photographer. Please please guide!
God bless!

Della – Seattle Newborn Photographer

Meet Miss Della – my first newborn of 2012! Little tiny peanut slept great for me through the first half of the session and then decided she wanted to be awake for the rest of the session to see what the heck was going all around her! Super pretty tiny little thing – thank you Sarah for bringing her in to see me….I LOVE MY JOB!!!

I’m so glad you were able to get the ‘hand’ picture. Makes me tear up every time I see it. That one and the purple smirk … my favorites so far. Thanks Alecia.
